The Nokia N97 is a really cool phone - some really nice features and slick design -  there are tons of great reviews out there..

We just got word today from the Ovi Store that PinPoints has passed the Quality Assurance process - so it should be available next week.. We'll post a further update next week with more details.

After much work, hours of coding, testing, fixing bugs and getting those great guys in Symbian to bless our latest release - It's here. PinPoints v.51 for Symbian phones. It has all the great same functionality of the first release plus loads more.

• Search. Use the power of yourpinpoints.com search engine on your phone. We've added the feature where you can search for addresses from your phone and get a PinPoint returned to you.

PinPoints is now listed on OVI for about a week. The problem was we couldn't see the stats on downloads, devices etc. which was a real problem. Thankfully the stats are now up and running. Reading the Nokia forums a lot of people are very very unhappy with what the stats have shown up.

Thanks to all the beta testers who have provided such great feedback and feature requests via the 'Make a Wish' feature in yourpinpoints.com . Keep them coming please! 

We've listened to what you had to say - we've really overhauled the Symbian version and will be releasing a new version really soon. As soon as our test house gurus are finished debugging and signed by those nice guys in Symbian it will be available for release.

We got quite a few people looking for the draggable markers that were used in the first version of the site - so we've listened and brought them back! You can find the draggable marker map in the 'Advanced Search'
