Create

With ProPinPoints you buy a bundle of PinPoints from us. We give you an API key and all the code you need to hook up your database/list to our service. We'll accept your locations in whatever format you've got:

  • Business name
  • Address
  • PostCode
  • Latitude & Longitude
  • Grid Reference

We use that information to create a PinPoint and we return a reference siteID to you.

Store

We maintain a database of all your locations. You access specific locations via the siteID to update or delete the location. You can add lots of additional information to the PinPoint:

  • Phone number
  • Address
  • Website
  • Driving direction
  • Local knowledge/Additional information

You also control how much of this additional content is available to your customers when they access the PinPoint.

Distribute

Once a PinPoint is received by the phone - it makes the best use of the technology available - integrating with the default mapping software.

The PinPoint may be distributed either as a smart URL or to a client on the end users phone. It really depends on your needs - we are happy to help you figure out the best solution.
The siteID is used via the API to control the distribution method. A URL such as http://ypp.ie/F may be requested to be distributed via:

  • Booking confirmation email
  • Social networks
  • RSS
  • Web

An SMS platform is also available to deliver the location right into your customers handset - where is will be available when they really need it.
